Grape seed extract is a plant constituent that contains extremely strong Proanthocyanidins, used as health and nutritional supplements. It also contains cathechins, simple flavonoids that can combat allergies.

Grape seed extract is used by dieters and bodybuilders as a nutritional supplement. Additionally, it is believed that it contains powerful antioxidants that can protect cells from toxic damage.

Grape seed extract is also used to prevent hardening of the arteries and lower blood pressure. It may also help prevent cardiovascular problems and water retention.
