Grapefruit Seed Treatment of Nail Fungus

Grapefruit seed extract has many uses for treating infections and ailments. It is especially effective in the treatment of nail fungus.

History

Grapefruit extract has numerous uses, from washing fruits and vegetables to disinfecting containers and cages. It has been in use for more 30 years by medical professionals and is safe for home use as well.

Use

When using grapefruit seed extract to cure nail fungus infections, add five to 10 drops of the extract to 1 tablespoon of water. Soak your nails for a few minutes at least twice a day until the infection is gone.

Effects

Grapefruit seed extract is a natural detoxifier and boots the immune system. Because it has high levels of vitamins C and E, it works to neutralize free radicals that cause illness and disease.

Composition

Aside from being high in vitamin C and E, it also is composed of Citricidal, which comes from the seed and pulp of the grapefruit. This is a very active ingredient that makes grapefruit extract so potent in treating nail fungus.

Warning

Make sure that you do not put grapefruit seed extract in your eyes. It must always be diluted before using on sensitive body parts, such as your nose, ears and mouth. If contact or irritation occurs, flush with water for 10 minutes.
