Trying to conceive is a very special time in a woman’s life. Timing is everything when trying to get pregnant. There is a very small window of opportunity each month for a woman to become pregnant. It will take some conscious effort in your sex life to make this happen as quickly as possible. Pregnancy will happen when your body is ready so use the following techniques and you will get pregnant fast.

Make an appointment for you and your partner to see the doctor. Get a complete checkup to determine if you are able to have children. Also, find out if you or your partner have any health concerns that could delay pregnancy. Knowing what to expect beforehand is important so you won’t be disappointed if you aren’t pregnant right away.

Calculate the time period that you will ovulate. Most women have a 28-day cycle and they ovulate around day 14. Cycles can vary, so you must find out how many days are in your cycle. Ovulation is the time of the month when the woman is most fertile and is able to conceive.

Try to make love on a regular basis, at least three times a week. This increases your chances of conceiving. Some women have cycles that vary, so trying to pinpoint the exact ovulation period can be tricky sometimes. Having sex regularly could take care of that problem.

Take care of yourself during this time. Make sure you are eating healthy, exercising and getting plenty of rest. Don’t stress over the idea of becoming pregnant, because it could delay your chances. Stress is not good when you are trying to conceive. Relax as much as possible and it will happen.

Lie down longer after making love. This will give the sperm time to travel into the vagina. Make sure you are in a relaxed state of mind and lie there for about 5 minutes. This will help to increase the chances of getting pregnant, because the sperm is being kept inside the vagina.
