How to Remove Precancerous Skin Growths With Essential Oils

Skin cancer can be detected early on from precancerous skin growths. These growths are usually not cancerous at first, but they present a higher risk for skin cancer than healthy looking skin. If you or your dermatologist detect these skin growths, you can use essential oils to naturally eliminate the cancer’s development. If you find rough, scaly or discolored patches of skin, you might consider using essential oils on these areas.

Cleanse the skin before applying the carrot seed oil, to rid the area of any dirt or natural oils that could counteract the essential oil.

Mix 1 to 3 drops of the carrot seed oil with 1/2 teaspoon of carrier oil or V6 mixing oil. This dilutes the essential oil’s strength for beginners or for people with sensitive skin.

Test a small area of your skin first, to examine how the oil will affect it. If swelling or itching occurs, dilute with more carrier or V6 mixing oil.

Drop oil onto each precancerous skin growth area. After you drop the oil, cover the area with a hot, wet towel, followed by a dry towel. Hold in place for 10 to 30 minutes, allowing the oil to be fully absorbed into your skin.
