How to Remove Skin Tags With Nail Polish

minute read

By Shawn Hayes

Skin tags are small growths of skin that can appear anywhere on the human body (and on animal bodies too). The growth is painless and essentially just an extra patch of skin. However, depending on where the skin tag is located, it can be a cosmetic issue and may be something you would like removed. Instead of paying for an expensive doctor visit you can actually remove the tag with nail polish.

Wash the skin on and around the skin tag. You need the skin to be completely clean for the nail polish to remove the tag.

Dip the brush into clear nail polish (you don’t want a red or blue spot painted onto your skin).

Apply the nail polish to the skin tag. Make sure the entire skin tag is thoroughly coated with the polish. Do not rinse the polish off with water. Instead, remove it in the shower the next time you bathe.

Continue applying the nail polish to the skin tag every day until the tag has fallen off. This is going to take several days of applications before the tag comes off.
