Helpful Vitamins for Treating Athlete’s Foot

Athlete’s foot can be painful and uncomfortable, so quick cures are key. The condition, caused by a fungus, grows in damp places and is highly contagious. Since your body will naturally fight the fungus, vitamins can be used to boost your immune system to cure athlete’s foot.

Take vitamin C. Boosting your immune system will help your body fight athlete’s foot and you can do that by taking vitamin C. You might want to take smaller doses several times a day. Large doses can cause diarrhea.

Take vitamins A,B,D and E. These vitamins will help balance your overall health and work to help your immune system. Vitamins A, B and E help promote healthy skin.

Take Zinc. Zinc will specifically help your body fight fungal growth. Taken along with the other vitamins will keep athlete’s foot away.
